Traffolyte Engraving

What is Traffolyte?

Traffolyte engraving is a process of engraving on a type of plastic material called Traffolyte. Traffolyte is a layered plastic material consisting of two colored layers, typically in contrasting colors such as black and white.

The material is highly durable and resistant to wear and tear, making it suitable for use in harsh environments.

The process of traffolyte engraving involves using a high-speed engraving machine to cut through the top layer of the traffolyte material. The cutting tool removes the top layer of the material, exposing the underlying layer in a contrasting color. By removing specific areas of the top layer, a design or text can be created with high contrast and visibility.

Traffolyte engraving is commonly used for creating identification tags, labels, and signs for industrial and commercial applications.

The engraved text and design on traffolyte materials are highly legible and visible, even from a distance, making them ideal for identification and warning signs.
